Denise was no stranger to cloth when she found SAORI™ weaving. The style spoke to her overly perfectionistic heart with a gentle nudge to simply, “Weave your heart.” Known for her use of color and her wackiness in the classroom, Denise embraces the concept of the Perfectly Imperfect in her weaving and other artistic endeavors. When not weaving/teaching/finding new ways to express her creative soul, she can be found at fiber festivals around the Southeast sharing her love of SAORI™ or traveling the world with her husband and reminding all that in life and art, “It’s all just a grand experiment!”
